James - my work in the past has been creative but now it's more on the product/project/business side of crreative/tech but I do get a lot of enjoyment.

Sam - You know money has never been a massive incentive for me. Doing something I enjoy means more but there is some importance in it to enable me to enjoy things. The holiday idea is a good one and I have been away a few times this year but they are mainly catch-ups with friends from school/uni and stag do's etc so tend to be containing a lot of alcohol rather than relaxing weekends away and whilst I don't mind going to Glastonbury on my own I'm not sure a weekend in a strange city or something on my own will actually be that relaxing.

30f - I am actually for the first time in a while making use of this afternoon, well sort of, I'm off to the cinema for the first time since Moon, although considering the cinema is all of the building next door it's not exactly a trip out. I'm off to see Where The Wild Things Are, hopefully a bit of Spike Jonze influence and a flash back to one of my favourite books as a kid will help kick start some creativity

Lovely post, you've inspired me to look back over the last year and post my own 'reflections'.

I am with you re: inspiration, I have a resolution to use my Sunday afternoons better, and maybe not sit in front of my computer... and... oh... it's Sunday and it's the afternoon.

Maybe next week!

Going on holidays and experiencing new cultures (Rose says I should add money too). Go on lots of weekends away, even if it's only in the UK, so many places to visit!

Having blogged tonight after a three week hiatus I understand the annoyance of having no inspiration to do something that you know you enjoy and care about...

Frustrating.

But (and this is said without having no real knowledge or understanding what you do for a living), when your creative juices are flowing professionally, it's often hard to find more to flow into the hobbies you love.

Like you, I'm trying to make changes this year - one of which is to comment on more of the posts I read...

Well, see above.

In regards to your question: People, London, the Underground and... Animals.

That is all.
